Volunteering Opportunities
A team of wonderful volunteers help us in a whole range of ways. They deliver services directly to our clients, support the provision of services, and help us with the administration of the charity.
If you have a few hours to spare each week you might be interested in getting involved in the following:
To enquire about volunteering in our office, shops, foot clinics, lunch clubs or with computer skills please contact our office on 023 8084 1199 or email office@ageconcernnewforest.org.uk
For Befreinding or Waterside Good Neighbours please contact Dorothy Haden on 023 8084 3676 or email wgn@ageconcernnewforest.org.uk DBS checks are applicable to some roles due to the vulnerable nature of some of our clients.
We pay all reasonable expenses for volunteers |
When you volunteer you’re giving your time for free but you’ll be richly rewarded. Volunteering can have huge benefits not only for the organisations recruiting volunteers, but also for the community and for the volunteers themselves.
Volunteering is at the very heart of everything we do at Age Concern New Forest. We have a wonderful team of around 180 volunteers, many of whom are retired people themselves and without them we could not function. Our Volunteers cover all our services and we endeavour to give them a rewarding and enjoyable experience with us. What ever your
interests or skills, we are sure to have a role for you Please contact us to discuss |
