Information and Advice

We are currently looking for volunteers to assist us in providing our Information and Advice services. If you have a few hours a week to spare and would enjoy answering enquiries please contact the office for more details and an application form.

We are so incredibly proud to announce that our Information and Advice Service has passed their AQS re-accreditation Assessment Day.

Covid-19 update -   We are not yet making face to face appointments but we are offering a comprehensive telephone appointment service at this time.
We are pleased to be able to offer information, advice and guidance to clients (age 55 and over) as well as their families and carers.
If you have any problems, or anything is worrying you, then please contact us to see if we can help. We are able to offer information and guidance in many areas, including:

We are an alternative office for the DWP so can issue and help you to complete your claim for Attendance Allowance, Pension Credit or Carers Allowance.

In February 2019 our service was awarded the national Advice Quality Standard which ensures that the service meets recognised Advice Sector standards of practice and that the information and advice that we give is of a high quality and accurate.

Why not pop in and see if we can help you?
Office opening hours are Monday to Friday 10.00 am - 1.00 pm.  Messages can be left on our answerphone outside of these hours.

Information and Advice Appointments can be made during office hours. If due to your circumstances you are not able to get to the office during these hours, we can sometimes arrange appointments later in the afternoon.
We have an interview room available if you need any help or advice on matters that you do not want to discuss in the general office.
